Upon walking out of Walmart, I saw a small BMW tattooed like the car in the photo here. It’s fairly easy to learn more than you care to know about eager bumper sticker-ers and their views.
One tat caught my eye. It read “God is too big for one religion.” Of course, that came at me like “Well, son, wadda got to say about that!” I deliberated and then I thought about you.
So how do you respond to this? I’d really appreciate your answer.
All that goes into making a healthy and vibrant spiritual life is inexpressible, especially considering God’s agency in it all. Yet there are plausible essentials, as there are essentials that have made your faith what it is today.
If you had to suggest one spiritual essential to a new convert, what would it be and why?
Who in the scriptures besides Jesus teaches you much, whether about God, spirituality, or your own humanity? (Choose one person and tell us what they teach you.)
I’d like to know your thoughts on this thesis:
The fall of Adam and Eve reduced the human race to a cruder form of its original self requiring its education and technological evolution and maturation.
