All that goes into making a healthy and vibrant spiritual life is inexpressible, especially considering God’s agency in it all. Yet there are plausible essentials, as there are essentials that have made your faith what it is today.
If you had to suggest one spiritual essential to a new convert, what would it be and why?
A 'Mike' for Christ 
My answer: Study the scriptures. Do more than just read the Bible, but investigate it…examine it. Question all that’s there. Understand the Bible from a macro and micro view. Learn to do good exegesis. In the end, our relationship with the Lord will be strong and joyful.
It has to be the Word and a fellow Christian to help disciple would be great
